Yage Chen - Week 2

This week, I went to the construction site of Norwood house with Duncan together, and met with the contractor. We talked about how to deal with some of the details and I start to draw some of the detail drawings. I noticed that the final work would be very different from the original design. I talked with Duncan about one situation that because the house is in the neighborhood where the people is in low income situation. So, it is better keep exterior not that shiny or fashion. There are some steel siding in the original design which made the house looks cool. But the client decided not to use this siding, but regular wood siding. So I think because this is the affordable house. How to control the price and exterior look is very important.
