Week 5: Lessons Learned

This week reinforced the importance of communication within a project team. There were several of us on different floors and sides of the office working to get drawings done for the Savannah project. As we were all in the same Revit model, we were stepping on each others toes. There were a lot of synchronize requests flying around in the model. We used a chat system on our computers to efficiently communicate. Usually I try to walk across the office to speak to my colleagues in person, but sometimes with large project teams and approaching deadlines, the better option is communicating through the computer.
