Week 4: Lessons Learned

A lesson I learned this week was the importance of double and triple checking that you have a "watertight" and solid mass for sending a file to be 3D printed. One of the masses that we sent off to the Charlotte office to be 3D printed had a void space just below the roof, which messed up the printing of the roof. The time spent double checking your model is worth it when you don't have to reprint or re-model it down the road.
