syn·chro·nic·i·ty

noun

  1. the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.

This week went by quickly! I got to be part of two client meetings, worked on a lot of red-lines before a project submittal, finished the elevations that I had been tasked with weeks ago, and worked on two other projects.

I'm really starting to grasp the scope and meaning of the firm's name — what it means to be a small architectural firm engaged with multiple projects all at once. There's a lot of work to be done, and it needs be done fast. The faster you move, and the more work you try to get done, the less time you perceive. Einstein called it time dilation.

And that's not necessarily a bad thing, if it makes you work more efficiently with the time you have, and if it makes the remaining time that much more special and meaningful.
