Lessons learned
The discussion about the commandments of architecture was very insightful. It was nice to see leading professionals discuss the values that guide their practice. The most important values to me is conviction—a firm unshakable belief in yourself and your ability—and endurance.
“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it—then I can achieve it."
— Muhammad Ali
other things I learned this week :
— patience + team-spirit while dealing with mistakes, not necessarily my own.
— making roof plans using site photos, existing floor plans, side elevations; details of gable roof construction
— calculations: occupancy classification, occupancy load, plumbing fixtures requirements according to IBC building type

This clock in the Old City Jail may have stopped, but the clock never stops for you.
