Reflections
I learned that on-site drawings showing building dimensions are about quickness and not about being all-inclusive or being perfect. It is better to have just enough information to get the process started. You can always go back, collect more information, and improve the drawings.
Unsatisfied with my first sketch of the interior dimensions, I made a second version that was more legible, so that it would be easier for others to use it during the next site visit. As suggested by my colleague and roommate J.T., I used a different color for the dimensions, and showed the thickness of the walls to make it more legible.

Version II was a huge improvement, but took more time. I need to find a balance between legibility and quickness.

Version I made on-site was a very fast sketch, but it could have been more legible if I'd drawn bigger and added some thickness to the walls

This photo of the weekend is here for no reason. Also, look! Dogs! Fun!
