This week I learned how being creative is inversely proportional to the area available to work with and the number of requirements when designing a residential floor plan.

I realized this while doing the bubble diagram and plan options for a 1500 sqft unit with 2 bedrooms, 1 porch and a single car garage. I had it relatively easy since there seemed to be more space than needed. There are only so many ways in which the interior spaces can be related to each other, and I learned that there isn't such a thing as being too spacious when doing a luxury residential, if all the large spaces can be put to use in some way.
