Through sitting in on some meetings this week I learned how much coordination it takes between architects and consultants on even the smallest details of a project. Not only for consultants to understand the architect's vision but also for the architects to understand the technical resolutions that the consultants suggest. I also gained a firsthand look at the dynamic between developers and architects and how important it is to balance a project to meet both party's goals. It is important that as an architect you maintain the integrity of a project even if that requires a higher budget. I also saw how important the frequency of construction site visits are to ensure that appropriate construction methods are being used in a project.
