I have many takeaways from my first week back working at Rush Dixon Architects. Just sitting in on the weekly morning meeting made me realize how important organization is within a firm when you have so many different projects, in various stages, happening at the same time. Additionally, learning PowerCADD, a new program that I had never used before, through quick keys on the keyboard reminded me of the importance of being efficient when you have so many deadlines. The organization and calculation in the office will no doubt help me going forward as I work through my studio this semester.
