This week I mainly focused on CSL O’Fallon IL as we are preparing for a CD QC. I worked with both Debbie and Elizabeth to complete this. It is an interesting project to work on because it gives me the opportunity to really dive deep into the design process. Something I learned was that for CD’s it isn’t necessary to render elevations and casework in great detail. I also learned how to frame elevations correctly. When framing elevations, it is important to take note of the walls and make the cut line darker to indicate a cut. I think what is fun about comparing elevations and making views is how it relates to the plan and imagining how people will move through the space.
