Date: 11/30/17

Hours: 12

AXP: Construction/ Evaluation

Task Performed: CSL Charlotte Site Visit

Work Accomplished: Today Dana, Andrew and myself traveled the three hours to CSL Charlotte. It was probably my best day with Novus ever. After working on CSL’s for so long this past year, it was wonderful to get to finally see one. Although it wasn’t 100% finished it was mostly done. I learned so much that day it would be hard to compile it all but I will at least explain the most striking findings. What actually is done on the construction documents is what the contractors build to. Even if there is a mistake (there were a few) only the architects know. Another factor in design that I hadn’t really understood until today was detail. We went into so much detail with everything. This is a multi-million-dollar investment and everything must work correctly for the client.
