Perry Hammond - Week One

This week was a short one but a good one. I feel settled in at the McMillan Pazdan Smith Charleston office. I appreciated already having work to get involved on. I was introduced to the 667 King Street mixed use project and given the task of crafting a site model to be used in a presentation to the BAR. I have never worked on a model in the professional setting, so this is a new and exciting opportunity for me. Also, coming into this semester, I wanted to learn more about the BAR and since this model is to be presented there, I think this will already be a great potential for learning. It also shows a level of trust my coworkers have in me, which is motivating and encouraging.
