Hours Worked: 5

Project: Charleston Waterfront Hotel

Tasks: Working on the site model today, I made progress collecting building data and drawing the cut sheet I'll use in fabrication. I am converting all real dimensions I find to the scale of the model which is 1"=40'. I also made a list of materials I'll need and plan to go purchase those this afternoon. Ben, a young architect in the office has made a similar model previously and gave me several suggestions. We plan to plot out an aerial image of the water and marsh and underlay it beneath a layer of plexiglass. Another model in the office uses this technique and it looks nice.
