Hours Worked: 4 hours

Project: Florence Darlington Technical College Culinary School; Lake City, SC; Renovation of old Walmart

Tasks: Today I kept working on CDs for this project. The set is going out for permit and bidding at the beginning of next week. A handful of people in the office are all working hard to get the drawings completed. Jim sits near me and is also working on this project, and today he explained to me the bidding process and the architect's role. This is one thing I have been wanting to learn more about.I still have questions such as: Who and what dictates whether a project will be carried out in design-bid-build or design-build? What is the typical format and procedure for the bidding process?
