Lillian Jones - Week 12 Lessons Learned

This week I learned that I think too detailed sometimes and that it's harder for me to see the bigger picture. While I was working on a design for the master plan at Gadsden Green, I had a hard time moving on to different parts of the site because I wanted the building to be laid out a certain way. Urban design is a balance between a broad perspective and engaging the human at the same time. Attached is an image of the master plan taking shape, breaking up the block more, creating more density, and adding different types/styles of buildings.
