Lessons Learned - Week 10

This week I learned that Charleston is not a very bike-friendly place. Dodging traffic, running across highways in the pouring rain to get to a bridge that doesn't even have a sidewalk leading up to it is not very fun. What should have only taken me a half hour took me about a full hour and made me late to our mentor meeting! As discussed in the meeting, I plan on watching that documentary about Charleston's bridges as now I have a very visceral connection to the issue!
