KATIE TURNER - WEEK 6

LESSONS LEARNED:

I had the opportunity of talking with Ashley and Luke, my mentor, about my goals for the semester this week. It was great to look back over what I had written at the beginning of the semester and see that many of my goals for the semester have already been met. I still would like to have the opportunity to be at a client meeting or two, so this was a great opportunity to bring this up to Luke, and he said he will try to make that happen. I am also excited to go on a site visit of our brewery project on the Atlanta BeltLine while I am home for Fall Break. I have been learning that meeting my goals in the office happens much faster when I speak up and ask for what I would like to be working on.
