Week 14 : November 27th - December 1st, 2017
Lessons learned/reflections:
Monday, November 27th : We have a new full time hire starting tomorrow, and the drafting standards document was intended to bring full time staff as well as future Clemson interns a full set of documents to see as well as tips and techniques to draw in the graphic style of the firm. I finished the template that I started in September and went over it with Kate, then worked to show lineweights for the individual sheets within the set.
Tuesday, November 28th : Met our new full time hire and got him set up on his workstation. Kate and I went over the drafting standards document with him and got him working with our drafting software. Started working on office 2018 working drawing titleblocks for new branding - which is nice as they would start being used for the new year.
Wednesday, November 29th : Completed the titleblock branding for the company, worked on the drafting standards project and needed to package that and send it to company server; I also received copies of my work for my portfolio. One of my coworkers showed me working drawings from W. G. Clark Associates to talk to me about drawing sets and information that is included into working drawings. This was the final day of my mentorship with Beau Clowney Architects.
Images of work completed:
It is a short week, but because of the private nature of working drawings and company drafting standards, I do not have any images of completed work to share.
