.75 hour - filling out timesheets for past 3 weeks

.50 hour - weekly workload meeting

2.75 hours - private residence, interior elevations

Beau Clowney met with me to share some of the history of the firm, some of the firm's design philosophy, and how they seek to reconcile designing coastal homes to have a traditional historic home feel while dealing with new material and energy code requirements.

I continued interior elevations for a private residence on Sullivan's Island, a large three story cottage home. Met with Kate to discuss the interior elevations and discuss custom residential kitchen cabinetry, as well as the details of how countertops and millwork fillers meet with cased opening trim. I'm starting to think that this week's lesson learned will be about some of the differences between commercial and residential designs of the same components - doors, windows, and millwork.
