Time Worked: 4 Hours

Tasks Performed: First day on the job with Beau Clowney Architects, a small office of seven people. I met with Ross, who walked me through looking at some of the full scale drawing sets of previous projects that were on vertical rack storage to view as reference or were in some stage of permitting or construction. He spoke to me about the custom door and window package, sight lines of doors and windows, how roof pitches can vary on porches or exterior spaces in order to create a break in the volume of space from the inside of a house, and some of the lineweights that the firm uses to draw.

Work Accomplished: Didn't get much accomplished on the first day, just tried to get settled into the new job.
