This week being my last the reality that I would not be able to take part in these projects any more dawned over my head. I felt inspired to continue to keep putting my best foot forward and follow my passion in my projects. The first day I continued the garage to mother in law house, and the second day I worked on the site plan for our Low Line concept. I was passionate for these projects and disappointed to have to leave them. I learned how much I value architecture, and through out the semester I would always think about my projects back at my internship. To me it is difficult to leave something I worked on and not complete it. Considering this made me more aware of my choice to pursue architecture and the reason I am doing it. Studio has always been "I've finished my project, I'm ready to sleep now", but here it was something different. Here, there was a different pressure, different context, a different beauty to working towards an actual building and not just a grade and portfolio piece. I can say that this internship has shown me that I am following the right path, it has show me that I do love architecture.
