Another one day week, this day I exported the elevations I did on the Tennessee house and recreated them in PowerCADD. At this point the process became more clear on how tools are utilized. Sketchup was in this case used for graphics to make the job of creating documents simpler than trying to draw all the lines and ensuring there are no missing lines. Drawing over the exports from Sketchup made it a fast and simple task to make hard line drawings, using the tools to their advantage. From my experience at my internship, I started using this in studio. In our performance space studio project, I design the exterior and site elements in Rhino, and then the interior floor plans and structure in Revit. Each are best for a certain purpose, using this method has helped with efficiency and craft.
