Andrew Ramsey- Week 10

This week I worked one day where I added ground floor walls into the Tennessee house Sketchup model. I continued my challenge of the previous week of thinking through the process and reducing the amount I redo. I also made conscious how clustered a Sketchup model can become with non-necessary lines, non-grouped surfaces, and bad layer management. I actively worked to ensure I would not follow this detrimental model etiquette as an added challenge. I thought of this process empathetically, envisioning how the next person to work on the model would receive what I created. I reminisced back to group projects where I received files that were not well organized or maintained and my response. The design I was doing was preliminary with future edits to come after my internship has ended. I thought of it in a collaborative nature where what I do is passed on and the model will be the only form of communication I will have when someone else works on it.
