Hours: 8 From the best plan that was drawn previously I tweaked it to start nailing down a layout. During the process there was a big challenge with the stairs, getting them a reasonable distance from the entry door and giving them a landing that is clear of the low ceiling on the top floor. I went through several variations with the preferred option still under progress. On top of the stairs is the issue of the dormers and how they will work stylistically. To best understand their appearance I researched dormer styles while leaning away from traditional style as much as possible to best match the metal roof that will go on top. I drew sections, elevations, floor plans, made a 3D model, and detail drawings and will condense them down to a particular design path to end off my internship.
